Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This policy explains how we handle personal data on the website reminimopaslaugos.lt: what data we receive, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We process only as much data as we need to answer your inquiry.

1. Who handles your data

The data controller is UAB “BC Consulting”, company code 302525220, Antakalnio g. 44-2, LT-10304 Vilnius, Lithuania.

Send questions about personal data and requests to exercise your rights to this email address.

2. What data we process and why

Inquiries

This covers the contact form, the “Ask about this …” button and the inquiry from the virtual framing tool.

  • Data: name, email, phone (optional), your message; the page and the frame or artwork you ask about; language. From the virtual framing tool we also receive the settings you chose and a picture with the frame. If you tick “Send me a copy”, we also send a copy of the email to you.
  • Purpose: to answer your inquiry, give you an offer and discuss an order.
  • Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (when you ask about a service, a frame or an artwork). For general questions – Article 6(1)(f): our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us. We do not ask for consent for this purpose.
  • Are you obliged to provide it: no, but without your name, email address and message we cannot reply.

The picture in the virtual framing tool

The picture you load into the virtual framing tool is processed only in your browser and is not uploaded to our server. It is sent only when you press “Send inquiry”: it is attached to the email to us as a JPEG file without photo metadata. The temporary file on the server is deleted after sending. The share link does not contain the picture, only the chosen settings.

Protection against spam

The form has a hidden field and checks how long it took to fill in, and no more than 5 inquiries per hour are accepted from one IP address. For this we keep a checksum of the IP address (a one-way code from which the address cannot be recovered) in the website database for one hour. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in protecting the website and the mailbox from abuse).

Server logs

The company that hosts the website automatically keeps technical logs: IP address, time of the visit, the address opened and the browser type. They are needed for the operation and security of the website and for investigating attacks (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are processed and stored by the hosting provider, and we do not use them to track visitors. Our own log records only the result of an inquiry (for example “sent”), without your data.

Emails and calls

When you write to us by email or call us, we process the data you provide for the same purpose and on the same basis as for inquiries.

3. Who receives the data

We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising or marketing. It is received only by our service providers (data processors), who handle it on our instructions:

  • Hostinger (hostinger.com) – website hosting, content delivery network (CDN) and sending emails from the website form.
  • Google (Google Workspace) – the mailbox info@reminimopaslaugos.lt where received emails are stored.

We give data to public authorities only when the law requires us to.

4. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

The website is hosted on a Hostinger server in Lithuania. Google (the mailbox) and the Hostinger CDN may also process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In that case lawful transfer safeguards apply: the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5. How long we keep the data

  • Inquiry emails and the attached picture: up to 12 months after the last correspondence if no contract is made. If you order a service or an artwork, we keep the data for the duration of the contract, and accounting documents for as long as the law requires (up to 10 years).
  • IP address checksum for spam protection: 1 hour.
  • Server logs: the period is set by the hosting provider; we do not collect them separately.
  • The copy of the email sent to you: kept in your mailbox, we do not have it.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • find out whether we process your data and receive a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have data erased or its processing restricted;
  • receive the data you provided in a readable format and pass it to another controller;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Write to info@reminimopaslaugos.lt. We will reply within one month, free of charge. If we doubt who is writing, we may ask you to confirm your identity.

7. Complaint to the supervisory authority

If you believe your data is being processed in breach of the law, you can lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate (L. Sapiegos g. 17, LT-10312 Vilnius, vdai.lrv.lt, ada@ada.lt). We invite you to write to us first, and we will try to resolve the problem.

8. Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you solely by automated means and we do not carry out profiling.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

The website does not set any cookies and does not write data to your browser storage (for example “localStorage”): we use no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. The language is determined by the page address, so no language cookie is needed. For this reason we do not show a cookie consent banner. Cookies are set only for website administrators when they log in to the admin area.

Third-party content

Some parts of the website are opened by other companies, so their own privacy policies apply to what they do:

  • Videos (YouTube). Some tips contain a YouTube video. It loads only when you press the “Play the video” button; until then nothing is loaded from YouTube. After you press it, YouTube (Google) receives your IP address and may store cookies or similar data. See the Google privacy policy.
  • Maps and social networks. The maps on the website are images from our server. Links to Google Maps, Maps.lt and Instagram open the websites of those services only when you click them.
